PSAT

pencil on test

Tuesday October 15th, 2024 St. Francis High School will administer the Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test (PSAT). This test measures critical reading, verbal reasoning, math problem solving, and writing abilities and is connected with the National Merit Scholarship Program. Almost 7,000 students nationwide are awarded the prestigious Merit Scholarships for college undergraduate study.

While only grade 11 students can compete for National Merit Scholarships based on their test performance, grade 10 students may take the practice test. Through the experience, they may gain a clear idea of what to expect next year on the test and therefore increase their chances of becoming a National Merit Scholarship recipient.

Below are the steps to secure your spot by completing payment for PSAT. The test cost is $23 and can be paid for through the Community Education registration website.
