What is Saints Academy?

Saints Academy is an area learning center (ALC) program located in St. Francis at the St Francis Learning Center. The program enables St. Francis Area Schools ISD 15, Princeton ISD 477, and students in surrounding communities to earn high school graduation credits and a diploma in a non-traditional setting.

Students in grades 9-12 may attend Saints Academy for a variety of reasons but must qualify under one of the below eligibility criteria. Students who do well with Saints Academy are those who thrive on relationships with staff, a less distracting school environment during the day, and more hands on learning opportunities.

Saints Academy is a comprehensive ALC where students attend daily and follow the traditional school calendar in classes taught by licensed subject area teachers.

Highlights:

  • Career and Technical Classes

  • Agricultural science classes including FFA opportunities

  • Early Middle College Partnerships with Anoka Ramsey Community College and Anoka Technical College

  • Core Day credit recovery opportunities to help students get caught up for graduation.

  • Six week courses focused on high interest topics.
