School Year Information
To start the year on a positive note, I want to share the results from last year’s senior survey about their
St. Francis High School (SFHS) experience:
- 93% I feel prepared for transition to college or the workplace
- 90% I feel safe in the school building
- 91% My teachers had high expectations for me
- 89% I am satisfied with the education I received in the high school
The class of 2019 had 307 students graduate from SFHS with 89.5% of our students going to post- secondary institutions, joining the military or working in apprenticeship programs. These ratings speak highly of SFHS and St Francis Area Schools. As we look forward to the 2019-20 school year, we will focus on St. Francis Area Schools pillars: Equip, Empower and Achieve. We continue to focus on making sure all students feel connected and are challenged to meet their pathway goals for future success beyond high school.
As you probably have noticed, construction has been ongoing at SFHS throughout the summer and we are excited about the progress as we prepare for this upcoming school year. We are planning to start the school year as scheduled. If there are any changes, we will communicate them as we get closer to the start of the school year.
Periodically check the website for information on school pictures, 9th grade transition day, important dates, school schedules, Saints Time and back-to-school.
